Clarify building docs

fix a typo, change main repo name, and clarify that there is a docgenerator folder within the docgenerator folder.

Looks good to me, aside from the .gitignore changes. Those seem to be unrelated, so I'd suggest doing a separate commit, to keep the git history clean and atomic.
