Don't you mean 8+4? I thought the plan was to have 2 appointed seats per election cycle. @torgo

In AB resolution https://www.w3.org/2023/05/12-ab-minutes.html#r05 - also mentioned in https://github.com/w3c/AB-memberonly/issues/171#issuecomment-1551895803 - the AB agreed to put in two more elected seats, but not to increase the number of appointed seats in this process cycle.
