This issue is not the place for substantive discussions--it's just a way for me to add people to the project, and to allow people to practice with GitHub. So as Tobias said, please open an issue in the EPUBCheck tracker. Thanks!

It was quite easy to create my personal epubcheck fork in my Github account - to be able to experiment with damaging the master. I could also download it as a zip and extract it on my hard disk, but creating a clone doesn't work with any method or Git client because I'm sitting behind a very strict corporate firewall (which I don't have any influence to change) and all the necessary ports (e.g. 443) seem to be blocked. What would be the best method to upload files, to generate a pull request or asking for comments? How do you upload files into a specific directory? Thx for your kind assistance and patience!

Hello! Since four years I am running a polish portal that is focused on modern way of reading and its accessibility. @dauwhe , I would be honored to become a collaborator as I am working on expanding my editing and publishing skills. Additionaly, since two years I am working as a software tester. I could be helpful in testing purposes as well! That would be a great experience!

Hi @dauwhe,

I have been developing quite a few epub-related tools (mostly reader-oriented) and am working to update them to epub 3.2 (btw, it fixed all the issues I had with older versions of epub 3). I have also contributed to epub.js and have had experience working with and troubleshooting e-readers and apps (Kobo, koreader, Sigil, multiple Android apps). You can find them on my GitHub profile and on the MobileRead forums.

On a side note, what is the proper capitalization of epub? EPUB, ePub, ePUB, or epub? I can't seem to find a consensus on this.

Can I be added as an collaborator?

It was made a registered trademark...

EPUB is a registered trademark of the International Digital Publishing Forum.
