Hmm, this brings the question: graceful degradation or progressive enhancement?

As usual in development, it depends, but when it comes to CSS, we have feature queries (@supports), which invite authors to design their stylesheets with a progressive enhancement mindset.

I’m particularly biased towards progressive enhancement so I’ll let other people weigh in.
