Reliance on yet-to-be-developed tooling [Deque feedback] #375

Based on the early draft content of five Guidelines, it appears that there will be a heavy reliance on sophisticated tooling that does not yet exist, in order for WCAG 3.0 to not substantially increase the time and skills required to audit content.

  1. How do you envision this tooling will be developed?
  2. Will there be test case libraries to ensure consistent quality of the necessary tools?
  3. Will the move of WCAG 3.0 to a Recommendation be predicated on the availability of such tooling?
