Requirements 4.3 #726

Closed iadawn closed 3 months ago

Relates to:

4.3 Multiple ways to display

Make the guidelines available in different accessible and usable ways or formats so the guidance can be customized by and for different audiences.

This puts an additional burden on the Working Group to come up with and create the differing presentation approaches. Ultimately it also limits the available presentation approaches to whatever the WG come up with.

As an alternative it may be helpful to have a requirement that is something like:

Make the guidelines easily available for use by others to create different accessible and usable ways or formats.

Sorry, can't think of a title.

Note, this does not preclude the WG coming up with those alternative ways.

Suggesting this wording as middle ground (not implying the WG nor "others"):

Design the guidelines so that they can be presented in different accessible and usable ways or formats, to address the needs of different audiences.

From the TF discussion: The new text is good, we could also literally say "an API". However, being open on this point is ok.

PR needed, but good for AG review.

Created PR #733 with the proposed wording.
