Chromium team

If the API gains traction, there may be a desire to add support to more browsers, and also to enable connections to more stores.

• Where do you think it should go next?

One idea from the Chromium team is that we create a forum for discussion about web monetization models that might cover topics such as Web Monetization and Digital Goods.

I believe Chrome shipped support for the DG API in June 2022

I checked with Chromium folks prior to TPAC 2022 to see if we should organize a discussion; they indicated that they are still gathering developer feedback (and so there was no discussion at TPAC).
