Although we have convened global stakeholders to improve the Web for an important segment of the payments industry, there remains much to do to (1) lower barriers for the historically unbanked and (2) ensure the Web can accommodate small value and low overhead payments (e.g., for donations, road usage, EV charging, utility usage in smart cities, and other micropayments use cases)
