Which HTTP verbs should be allowed to return HTTP headers? #19

The spec currently states "An origin server that receives a valid GET request targeting this resource MUST send either a successful response containing a machine-readable representation ..." (this sentence has its origin in the DoNotTrack specification).

But sending a HEAD command could be very useful to check the presence of the tdm file. Should we add HEAD then? What about POST?

I don't see why in practice a TDM Agent would request if the file at the origin server exists, without fetching it.

Closed as idle. Responding to a HEAD command is good practice on the Web anyway.
