TR page needs flow chart showing spec phases #15

When someone comes to TR, they have no idea what ED, FPWD, WD, CR, PR, REC, mean, their distinctions, where they are in the lifecycle etc. A simple flow chart would help e.g. see the tops of:

https://indieweb.org/Micropub https://indieweb.org/Webmention https://indieweb.org/WebSub for spec state specific diagrams

and perhaps something simple like this in any context where lists of WD/CR/PR/REC are shown:

@tantek, it's not exactly what you suggest, but I started drawing a flow chart to guide newbies (or anyone, really) in the process of publishing specs of any kind:

https://github.com/w3c/w3c.github.io/blob/tripu/flow-diagram/img/flow-diagram.svg

It's more oriented towards tools (Bikeshed, Respec, spec-generator, Specberus, Echidna, Link Checker, etc) than towards types or phases of specs. But perhaps we could combine both in the same diagram?
