It seems that there is a mechanism of registering fields with OASIS:

http://www.amqp.org/specification/1.0/message-annotations

Need to collect more information on how exactly this can be done.

@SergeyKanzhelev any news on this? Is there any information missing before @clemensv (Hi Clemens, long time no hear ;-)) can get the process in the AMQP TC started? The Eclipse Hono project would be very interested in having the trace context standardized for the AMQP 1.0 protocol. I am also willing to help with anything, if I can ...
