Mappings to media delivery formats and protocols #10

The specification does not currently define how metadata attributes, e.g., in the TVChannel and TVProgram objects are to be obtained from the source media formats, such as DVB-S/C/T/T2 for TV or DAB for radio.

Do we need to specify such mappings, similar to how the Sourcing In-band Media Resource Tracks from Media Containers into HTML specification does for MPEG-TS?

I think the mapping is easy to the existing small set of tvprogram attributes. There are probably a few missing in particular a seasonId.

I guess the radioprogam has yet to be defined.

The Sourcing In-band Media Resource Tracks from Media Containers into HTML is not looking at metadata sources like DVB-SI or DAB. Maybe at least an additional attribute should be added to mediaResource allow to extract the equivalent of the SI or DAB epg information?

Actually the TVEITBroadcastEvent is partly addressing this or so it seems

(In reply to #32): I think these mappings need to be defined. For DVB maybe we can reference the mappings defined by HbbTV. There is a page in the Working Group's wiki here where we can work on them.
