Does this way of adding spaces between letter influence in anyway where break-points are allowed? From the sample, it seems that the word still hyphenate normally, and that breaks at other points within the words do not become permitted just because there's a space there. But I am not sure, since I cannot read Hebrew. Is that right?
@tomerm is this emphasis (eg. what you'd expect to see when adding em
in HTML), or just a way to highlight things like proper nouns (eg. what you'd expect to use u
for in HTML)? (see the HTML explanation)
By the way, this kind of tracking is used in German for emphasis.
@frivoal Indeed extra spaces in the word don't interact in any way with hyphenation. Namely:
tag: text_decoration Entities mentioned in a text (people names, concepts, terms etc.) emphasized via tracking. source: nk (provided by @tomerm)
The image illustrates such emphasis of medical terms in an encyclopedia article.
