The second stretched word in the left column is பெரும்பான்மை (majority).

Note that the vowel signs have equal spaces between them and the base characters as between all other characters, ie. the stretching is done on a character by character basis, rather than grapheme clusters.

A little lower down, the full stop participates in the stretching, with the same gap as for the letters.

The inter-character stretching is only applied when only a single word fits on a line.

No hyphenation is applied.

In other locations it was clear that vowel-signs that are not already slightly separated from their base are not letter-spaced. For example the i in கிராமப்புறங்கலில். Ligated forms are also not separated.
