Any Plans For Adding RSS Feeds? #292

Are there any plans to provide RSS feeds, and show icons and/or links for News and Events? Some browsers (like Vivaldi) have built-in RSS feed readers. It's not dead!

Thanks, Sam

Hi @neadfiles

We do provide various RSS feeds, which are usually linked from the bottom of the relevant page. See:

Note that I did spotted a few issues with those which I previously reported in #278.

Note that those should be auto discoverable thanks to e.g. on https://beta.w3.org/news/

<link href="/news/feed/" title="W3C News" rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" />

Let me know if you notice one which isn't.

Thank you for the quick response!

I see the RSS feed links now. Might an RSS feed icon located at the top of the page allow for quicker discovery? Given the short attention span of many readers, including those who don't look for additional content links at the very bottom of a web page.

I really appreciate your taking the time to list those RSS links.

Sam
