Assuming leave as first link under "Standards/Guidelines" in nav:

Add a bit more about standards up front
clarify WAI Accessibility Guidelines = W3C Recommendations = Web Standards and things like ARIA = W3C Recommendations = Web Standards

update: deleted:

...W3C's web standards are called W3C Recommendations. WAI's accessibility guidelines that are W3C Recommendations are international web standards.

Since we decide to add https://w3c.github.io/wai-std-gl-overview/standards-guidelines/ , I deleted the sentences above and added a link at the bottom.
