Proposal:

List at top is the translations of the current page. Clicking on a language changes the current page to that language.
After that list (far right) is a link to all languages. Clicking on a language there goes to a list of all pages in that language.

Note about wording options: Previously we decided to use terms as follows:

Languages — for links that go to another language - primary audience: users
Translations — for links to how to translate information - primary audience: translators

Info at: WAI translations pages & Image options & List of resources...

We can decide to change that decision if warranted.

I think the signposting is helpful. 'Other pages & languages' is slightly long in English, so will be longer in most other languages. Something like "All translations" is slightly shorter(??)

Although it takes up additional space again, I like the use of the icon after that text on the image "When no translations of a page are available" at https://www.w3.org/wiki/WAI_Translations#4_Dec_proposal since it provides a non-linguistic escape hatch.

+1 to comment about the benefits of having an icon.

Icon: I agree that the icon is needed when there are not other languages listed. I thought it less important when there are other languages listed since they provide some indication that it's about languages.

I'd be fine having the icon all the time.

All Translations: "All Translations" is short and clear. I like it. My only hesitation is the distinction we previously decided on between "Languages" and "Translations". (info above)

If no better ideas for the text for that link, and no concerns with changing the decision about how to use "Translations", then I'd be good with "All Translations".

Proposal updated based on additional feedback from EOWG participants & W3C staff. Changes:

Mobile/small viewport default has toggle: "[icon w/ arrow] Select Language, Translations"
Changed "This page: [language list]" to "This page in: [language list]"
Added collapse/expand button for language list for desktop
Last link is "All Translations [icon 2 boxes]"
