Context

Among W3C working groups is the Accessible Platform Architectures Working Group.

The mission of the Accessible Platform Architectures Working Group (APA WG) is to ensure W3C specifications provide support for accessibility to people with disabilities. See more (https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/)

The APA working group is cited in many pages of the WAI website, including :

Issue

"Accessible Platform Architectures" has been translated to "Architectures de plateforme accessible" by @code-elegant in Vue d’ensemble des standards d’accessibilité du W3C

In https://github.com/w3c/wai-mobile/pull/25, @Alex-akel used the same translation.

I am wondering if the translation is correct or may be improved :

Suggestions

Which one is the best according to you ?

What is the main target of the WP ? Making "architectures" or "platforms" accessible ?

"Open Web Platform" is a key phrase in W3C, so I would say to focus on "Platform" over "Architectures".

(You can learn more about the Working Group from the APA Charter )

@remibetin Given Shawna's comment, I feel like the singular remains the better option. (The Accessible Platform would be the general concept around which the Architectures are designed). Do you agree?

"Accessible Platform Architectures" --> "Architectures de plateforme accessible"
