As the community manager and the administrator of the GitHub page https://github.com/republique-et-canton-de-geneve of the State of Geneva, I personally endorse this pull request. I testify it was carried out with extreme care by my colleague Mark Thiebaut.
As leader of this project, the aim of this work is to facilitate French-language accessibility audits. Digital accessibility is one of the priorities of the State of Geneva, with the aim of providing increasingly inclusive digital public services. To ensure the quality of the translations, the project was based on the translation of WCAG 2.1 into French published on 11/7/2022. The French translations of the report-tool pages were reviewed and improved in collaboration with Access 42 (Paris) and OCSIN specialists (Geneva). Our audits are now carried out on the open-access demonstrator at https://wcag-outils.ge.ch/. The aim now is to share this work with the French-speaking community via the W3C report tool. I am therefore asking the W3C team in charge of existing tools to revise and validate our request for the French language.
The State of Geneva has made an excellent contribution, thanks to the Administration numérique suisse (ANS), to promoting the use of this tool in the French-speaking community and specifically in French-speaking Switzerland.
@shawna-slh I recommend to "Squash and merge" this PR with many commits.
Dear @shawna-slh, @remibetin,
Many thanks for your help to check and finalize the french translation of the WCAG-EM report-tool.
I hope this work will contribute to improve the web accessibility and facilitate french speackers experts audits. In 2024, we will be glad to share a new "pull request" to integrate the official french translation of the WCAG 2.2 ongoing.
In the meantime, we remain at your disposal for any further details.
Best regards.

The Swiss Digital Administration and the State of Geneva have just integrated the french translation into the "WCAG-EM report tool". This translation is based on the official french translation of WCAG 2.1 (published in July 2022) to standardize practices, comply with accessibility standards and legal obligations (eCH-0059).
We suggest this sharing so that the french community can use it.
