Translation into different language(s) #57

Thank you very much for developing very useful resources!

I'd like to translate "Cognitive Accessibility Guidance " into Japanese and some might get interested in translating into their languages.

Could you please tell us how to get started? Should I use the GitHub?

I've read W3C's Contributing to W3C Translations before. Is this still what we should do?

Hi @MakotoUeki Of course it would be great for you to translate! This is a bit different from most WAI resources. The source is actually from this "TR" document: https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-usable/ The Objective and Design Pattern are in this section: https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-usable/#design_for_everyone I'll talk with @SteveALee about the best approach, and we'll get back to you.

Hi @shawna-slh, @SteveALee

The source is actually from this "TR" document: https://www.w3.org/TR/coga-usable/

Oh I see. That's good to know. I'll wait for your suggestion. Thanks!

@MakotoUeki it's good to hear from you and thank your for the offer. A Japanese version would be valuable.

We'll figure out the best approach, given, as Shawn says, the source document is a TR note.

@SteveALee Thanks so much. Japan is most rapidly aging country all over the world. This document would be also helpful and useful in terms of the accessibility for older users.

@shawna-slh @SteveALee Please let me start the Japanese translation with the text on the pages at first. Once I'm done with it, I'll copy the translated text into the format/files you will suggest later. Thank you so much for your time!

That would be perfect!!
