Consider including userland conventions and protocols #52

The WG has encouraged discussions around A/B testing and managed components which can have a significant impact on web performance and the user's experience, even without resulting in browser APIs.

It seems appropriate for the WG to include that in the charter as part of its missions, perhaps with related deliverables.

Is there formal specs for either of these? What precise language are you proposing be added to the charter?

Not at the moment, but there might be.

What precise language are you proposing be added to the charter?

A quick initial stab is at https://github.com/w3c/web-performance/blob/charter_draft/charter_comments.md#scope : "The Working Group's scope may also include deliverables describing industry conventions that can help interoperability and improve application delivery or measurement in non-browser environments (e.g. Edge-side code, userland measurement code, etc.)."

"may" is probably wrong there..
