DID and micropayments #66

I've seen the DID WG minutes. An interesting use-case for DIDs are micropayments. Especially in context of the growing market of cryptocurrencies. Selling services or data. I worked for the IOTA Foundation. So, if you need some input on the topic, I am happy to help. I can also write down some real life scenarios, if needed.

@Citrullin Many thanks for your offer. Micropayment is a horizontal use case which applies to various vertical use cases (e.g. retail) It would be very useful if you could create a use case description for micropayment in the use case template USE-CASES/use-case-template.md

DID is one of several possible mechanisms for doing micropayment.
