User Need 18: I think that this should start by stating the basic user need that "People who are Deaf or hard of hearing may need access to captions for communication accessibility in XR environments." The (already stated) need for customization of captions for people with vision impairments could then follow that.
Also, we don't address positioning of captions in VR & AR space, something that can significantly impact focus and affect comprehension and/or fatigue levels in immersive environments. Req 18A could add ", ...with customizable positioning."
