xml and xmlns prefix and xmlns namespace name tests #9

I see no tests in here that verify the semantics of setting the xml namespace prefix (can be explicitly set as long as it is set to the usual namespace name) or the xmlns namespace prefix (not allowed to be set) or the xmlns namespace name (not allowed to be set for other prefixes).

Should there be a test for these cases? If so, I would like to write some simple test cases.

Also, is this where development of the xml test suite is happening these days. I wasn't able to figure out how to get a cvs checkout of the test suite from the w3c dev service as indicated in the docs for the test suite.

This repository contains tests for XSD (XML Schema) conformance, whereas you seem to be interested in tests for XML itself. I'm no expert on that. The test suite is described at https://www.w3.org/XML/Test/. Many of the W3C CVS repositories have migrated to GitHub, but I don't see this one. I'll ask on the XML slack channel if anyone knows the definitive location.
