@samuelweiler I recently gave more details for security and privacy sections of MathML:

Not an expert on this fingerprinting techniques, so I'm happy if someone can provide more guidance on this font enumeration stuff. Pre-installed math font is not common (essentially Cambria Math on Windows) so testing for the availability of a system font like "Latin Modern Math" could help to identify users who have interest in scientific content. That said, I believe this is already possible without the new features introduced by MathML Core...
