Hi! Thanks for the PR! The two cases of 'state' that you found aren't referring to private browsing / ingocnito / whatever mode, but the browser state that's available to sites while in that mode. So I hope you don't mind me closing the PR without merging.
I don't mind but perhaps consider making that exact distinction / clarifying the context regarding 'state while in a particular mode' in the document. For starters, linking to 'state' would help.
For the most part, the question and description uses "mode" with the exception of this sentence that uses "state". Unless the use of the term "state" was intentional, it may be better to use "mode" instead.
