Add an RFP for delegation

Abstract

Busy Polkadot users should be able to delegate their nomination power to their trusted account (friend/fund manager/smart contract) and not have to worry about periodically checking their nominations

Thanks for the RFP, but this is actually already supported at least to a certain degree via the proxy module and the staking proxy type. See also the wiki. You would set up a controller and for this controller you would give another person staking proxy rights (potentially including a time delay). However we could definitly need a better UI for it and someone who potentially even creates a service around this feature. You can also use this together with a governance proxy etc.

Ah that's true. I never viewed the proxy as a means for delegation to someone else, but rather for your own account (like controlling the validator's own funds via another account). Seems silly obvious now 🙂 Thanks for the feedback, I'll close this one
