runtime modules

solidity (and solidity-compilied-to-WASM) contracts

Looks good and it doesn’t hurt to work on performance benchmarks. But I have two concerns: Does it make sense to already start benchmarking these implementations (e.g. evm)? And it might potentially lead to people focusing only on benchmarks, when in reality there is a lot more to it.
