are you try it on android device? or with a personal computer...(either installed or virtual)?... i think they added some blacklist into root feature.... hope wdcat~chan can bypass it either by renaming or make a new method...

hey @RinFallen any luck on vmware? i got it deleted a few day ago... 10gb+ that make my hdd cry for more anime stuff.. , i dunno but my friend say RemixOS Dual-Boot(actual pre-installed) is still running.. probably an IMEI issue? spec issue? or a brand issue? dunno....

the reason why i play this game and stuck with it are when i see artemis boob and got her on gacha lol 🥇 , i allready try a lot method included memu,remixos,dll but could find a better suitable than this. (nox have better performance while allow me to work with my job and do something else) probably this time wdcat~chan will need a longer time since writting a new method/fixing bug ain't easy.

Dualboot seem to work, that's what i heard. VirtualBOX Remix doesn't work same way as VMware. I tried to change VMware BIOS to not say VMware in manufacturer tab.

It figures that I forgot to take down my bind code from one of RemixOS machines. Is there are way to dig for the bind code or should I just try to pointlessly try to account recover?

@Normiegetout you can backup data using Titanium Backup or other backup apps, then use this backup data to restore on another phone. Otherwise, just wait for new ver from wDCAT :(

Also worth noting, it seems to detect the magisk manager app as well, I tested it on a stock unrooted phone and fgo only opened after I uninstalled the magisk manager app.

@kjllmeplz Don't you need to be rooted to use it? And how would that go in backing into a non rooted device?

@SakabatoKeishi most device can be unrooted and if you are experienced enough.. just root it and install backup data then uninstall it while unrooting it... simple but hard and risky :) .

@Quintasan root detection methods are written by C++.They are compiled in lib***.so files.

I have 2 rooted android device, one is in 6.0 using ANRC, another is in 7.0 using Magisk hide. Both works before the update, now I have unrooted one device in order to play the game. Seems now they detect the suspected apk (ANRC, Magisk) in the data partition. When Android is still in dalvik, I can change the apk name in /data/app, but seems same cannot be done in ART mode.

I wonder if hiding Remix OS virtualized is possible, as dual-boot seems to work for most people I've tried adding some lines to .vmx file to isolate the VM, which seems to work for some Windows VMs. But even SMBIOS.reflectHost = "TRUE" (Apple iMac in my case, though I'm on hackintosh) didn't do the trick My first thought was editing build.prop to such as of Nexus tablet, but it didn't work either. I could've missed something as I don't know much about it, but I think it should be possible to, if it's doable for a Windows VM

Few month ago i tried changing both BIOS and build.prop to SHIELD K1. Google still saw device as Linux. It's, probably, not the thing, or not the only one. I have close to zero knowledge of Android and have no idea how to see what's being checked by FGO. Sadly.

Also the Taiwanese server is coming I register there maybe i can test their performance on my 1gb tablet and their gatcha...... In my China I got nice servants too like Emiya, Jeanne, Vlad III, JTR loli, Nobu Nobu, Saber Lily, Sieg, Bathory Halloween, Shishou, Herk, Kintoki and nice gold CEs..... But I want to finish my Shinjuku in my JP but I have troubles in my JP because of crashes. In China I have no problem playing with it too long...... Like 5 hours..... Awesome

@darkzamurai more likely the japanese version does a some optimization for higher RAM device like "background load" and "anti-aliasing with anistrophic filtering to make texture crispy" while chinese doesn't have root protection and they "should" disable those feature for making sure the market in "chinese" can run the game properly... i notice background load since app doesn't drop "loaded data" and load other "required" instead swapping/changing memory address to "zero" again. and the interesting part actually sprite and UI are looks good in higher resolution (2k resolutions).
