Great 👍 had some comments, mostly want to understand how fontconfig works and what's the minimal thing needed.

Not native english either 🇸🇪 and in my judgement your english is excellent.

The README is getting a bit long, i wonder if it should be split up in some point? 🤔 also thought about maybe using the wiki for some things?

Hmm yes it's getting a bit crowded. It's up to you. Do you want to move some stuff now or later?
