Windows Installation #42

Hi!

Thanks for the good work with this package. I have tried installing using both pip and the setup.py file on my windows 64 bit pc on the Spyder platform under Anaconda. I keep getting "RuntimeError: ERROR: Your setuptools version is too old (<12). Use pip install -U setuptools to upgrade". I have upgraded my setup tools but it still shows the same error. Can you provide some assistance with this?

I saw there was a problem with windows in the past. I followed the instructions for installation on a Mac computer and it still showed setup tools is too old. Is there a particular version of python that this package works? Is this package still being maintained?

I had many problems installing this package as I could not install it at all with python3. You could try my fork and see if my fix works for you too?

Thanks John! I will give it a shot, I hope it works if not I might have to try out the MATLAB version of this package.
