I haven't worked with the pico yet. I don't know if it can handle 5V. If not, you still need level shifters. Porting the code shouldn't be a problem (if you are familiar with the pico;-).
I'm new to the 6502 world and eeprom programming ,I'm gonna try porting it my self,thanks for the help.
