Summary

Full support for right-to-left (RTL) languages in the Wagtail admin.

Intended Outcome

The admin UI works with RTL layout out of the box
Contributor documentation shows how RTL languages should be handled
Testing of correct RTL rendering

Moving to v6.0. We’ve made progress on new designs and the steps to complete this are now very clear.

For anyone interested in this – we’ve made great progress on the UI, and would now be keen to improve the translations for right-to-left languages. See Supporting RTL languages for more details.
