Unable to connect to EC2 instance AWS console #104

Thanks for your time on building this project!

Steps taken:

  1. copy repo
  2. cd templates
  3. run terraform apply
  4. visit EC2 instance in aws console and click connect

Result: 

Failed to connect to your instance
EC2 Instance Connect is unable to connect to your instance. Ensure your instance network settings are configured correctly for EC2 Instance Connect. For more information, see EC2 Instance Connect Prerequisites at https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/ec2-instance-connect-prerequisites.html.

It's not configured to use EC2 Instance Connect. You'll need to use AWS SSM instead. Docs: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/latest/userguide/session-manager.html
