Need to investigate this to catch the exception and handle it.

Added the google DNS 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 to AWS EC2 Sin server. It seems to have resolved the "Unknown Host" issue and the frequency of detecting the server to be down has declined, from approximately 10-15 events to about 2 events per day.

The interval between the server being down and then back up are 10 min apart, the same as the default ping interval between each server check, which seems to insinuate that there is still an issue with "false alarms" being generated.
