Wako crashes if I’m on Wifi

Hello

I’m on iOS 17 (iPhone)

whenever I open the app while on WiFi, it automatically crashes. Even if I turn off phone then back on, etc

as soon as i remove WiFi, it works

my guess is that something happens when it tries to connect to Kodi through WiFi. I have Kodi setup with a login and password in case that helps diagnosing the problem

Here’s the weird thing

the app stays open if I just open Kodi

and closes exactly at the moment I put a movie or episode and it starts playing

if nothing is playing it doesn’t crash. So maybe it has to do with the remote thing or something else that gets activated when a file gets played/streamed

Did you enable option 4?

When nothing is playing, you can use the remote?

Yes of course

Here’s what I did to fix this issue

removed the “require authentication” from the page you screenshotted above

now Wako doesn’t close when I play a movie

so either people can just disable that to avoid the problem or if you come across what causes the crashes then you’re aware of it now
