Thanks for this great contribution!! My comments are mostly minor and asks for documentation. (I know the documentation level on the existing code isn't great, but still I think it's worth trying to add more comments moving forward)

Ha, thanks. Yeah that's exactly it. There's not much (if any) documentation currently. So we've been continuing the trend 😉. We'll have a look. And thanks again for the idea!
