New York Times doesn't always get updated #6

I've noticed on a few occasions that the new york times crosswords do not 
always get updated on the day following the release. What's annoying is that 
there doesn't seem to be a way to do the update. I've tried re-downloading the 
puzzle specific to the day but it doesn't force an *update*.  I'm not sure what 
causes the puzzles not to update. Sometimes it works fine and other times it 
doesn't. 

Is there any way we could get a setting for UPDATING as opposed to just 
downloading? Without deleting a puzzle and re-downloading, there doesn't seem 
to be another way.
