pending https://github.com/waldronlab/BugSigDB/issues/55 and https://github.com/waldronlab/BugSigDB/issues/92, we'd like to support ontology-based queries as described here.

@jwokaty @lwaldron quick heads up that bugsigdbr now supports ontology-based queries for experimental factors and body sites as outlined in the BugSigDB challenge #4. See the new functions getOntology and subsetByOntology introduced in fab5d1e.
