I note also a joining issue that Experiments with no Signatures are dropped, such as https://bugsigdb.org/Study_89/Experiment_2 (this contrast is here to record that the contrast was made, and an Alpha diversity result is reported, even though no differentially abundant taxa were reported). I think the desired behavior for the full importBugSigDB data.frame would be for all the Signature-related columns (e.g. Abundance in Group 1, MetaPhlAn Taxon Names, ...) to be NA
.
This is indeed by design that we are dropping experiments with no signatures. But I see the use case and we can change that: https://github.com/waldronlab/BugSigDBExports/issues/14
fixed in https://github.com/waldronlab/BugSigDBExports/issues/14 - should both clear up on Sunday's export.
As of today:

Something weird happening with one experiment from one study. For Study 86, see how "Experiment 7" is shown twice, instead of "Experiment 8" which exists at https://bugsigdb.org/Study_86 and in the bulk export experiments.csv (edited to show only the Study 86 rows). Actually, many of the Experiment 7 attributes are shown twice instead of those from Experiment 8 (such as group names and definitions).
