Battery is depleted too fast in standby #438

Using Glass XE12.

When I leave the device on the table, it loses all juice within a day (I didn't
measure the exact period). Can you please improve power management in standby
mode?

Could having less frequent updates while on WIFI and standby be an option? The
idea is that if the user does pick up the glasses then a WIFI network is
usually reasonably fast to allow syncing of items say in the past 10 minutes?

Also, I'm not sure how it works today but maybe also disable BT if WIFI is in
use?

Thank you.

It is a considerably serious issue.
Not using glass for a while i.e. leaving it in standby mode drains battery at
an alarming pace. Kind of makes a mockery of the standby mode. Glass needs a
more robust power management solution, one which turns off all the services
like wifi, bluetooth connections etc, when not in use by the user. A method to
limit battery consumption to nearly 0, yet allowing the glass to charge up.
Essentially giving the user the best of both worlds, by not forcing the user to
do a hard shutdown to stop battery drain, and at the same time allow battery
charging.
