Unit-tests fail when not network available #206

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Clone latest version of the sources
2. Shutdown your wireless, unplug your cable
3. run the tests (nosetests or run_tests.py)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I except no fail and no error.

I see 1 error and 3 fails.

The 3 fails come from example from the documentation, in order to run the tests
while building the Fedora package, I have switch these tests off.

The error comes from the test_n3.py, attached is a patch that fixes the issue.

Hope this helps

Thanks, I applied your patch and also added a guard for test_non_xhtml. All
tests pass when networking is off.

Pierre-Yves (I presume)

I notice that a very recent 3.2.0 appears in this "freshrpms" list, is this
your work perhaps?

http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/fedora/linux/updates/testing/16/SRPMS/python-rdflib
-3.2.0-2.fc16.src.rpm

I'm just askin' like, +1 thanks if it is your work.

Yes I have been updating the rdflib on Fedora and EPEL (EL6 at least for the
moment).
Dave is busy with other things at the moment so I'm helping :-)
