Hi D.V.
Can you shed some more details on your Python 3.0 feature. The reason is that
though we have heard this request for about 2 years, in reality we have not
seen much traction or push for it yet... and following other python projects
like Django etc, we feel the position is not very different there too. I don't
disagree that if Python 3.0 starts becoming the widely used, we would need to
make this top priority... but we are not seeing that as the case right now.
Apart from that, it would be minimal effort to support 3.0 (our guess) if all
our modules were pure Python. The ibm_db module though is a C extension that is
one which would need some changes because of 3.0's lack of backward
compatibility with 2.x

Hi D.V.
New version of ibm_db (2.0.0) include the Python3.x support.
This is currently in beta state, so we encourage you use this and give us your
valuable feedback.
Thanks,
Rahul
