canisters/thermos should be shifted, though it does mean we'll need to do something about connector ports. computers can't be, because tables can't be and the two are often next to each other. this is in theory fixable by making tables 3/4ths with a top edge extending up, but none's done that yet.
This would also help tables look less flat
In this picture, the locker is shifted, but the operating computer and the operating table are not, so it's almost impossible to see them at a glance.
In general, there seems to be inconsistencies between what gets shifted and what doesn't.
Here in Cryo none of the objects are - neither the machines, nor the canisters
But here in engineering, you can see a shifted locker, a shifted drawer, a shifted SSU, and a shifted vendor, but an unsifted PDA painter, disposal bin, and some racks, all on the same wall.
This is especially noticeable if they're line up on the same wall vertically.
