Multi-user with LDAP backend or at least REMOTE header #235

Closed lunarok closed 11 years ago

Hi,

I want to know if your support for multi-users is coming with LDAP backend in future ? Or at least a possible remote user in header (so a SSO can let access to poche)

This is to get poche integrated in my yunohost (and why not after in wiki and with moulinette of yunohost V2)

Thanks,

Cédric

Hi,

I think poche v1 is not the good version to implement this.

I add your good idea to the v2 roadmap.

Ok, thanks, nice to see it in roadmap, selfhosting is on the good way with all the tools we find now :) Before opening a new ticket, do you use a dedicated url for API used by phone application for exemple ? Dedicated API is usefull when the application is behind a SSO, like this we can unprotect just the API url and the application (for exemple android app) don't have to understand SSO protection, just the app auth.

I began to write an API this week ... but I don't have any idea about the end of this development.

Ok, no problem, it's on the road so. Will keep updated with the website rss and if you publish new article on linuxfr. For API, as long there is a dedicated url (/api/ or api.php for exemple) it's easier to manage with LemonLDAP for exemple.
