I´m interested in using Wallace to run some Maxent models, but I want to know if the package is able to "manipulate" the background sampling according to some particularities of my data, or if not, to expose a situation that you could consider for future developments in the current friendly interface.
I have my own occurrence data, and I know that it shows some sampling bias, because there is an association between the records and the distance to the drainage system, which gives access to the study area. Knowing that, I have created independently a background file, accounting for the occurrence bias (incrementing the density of points near to the drainages), which I included in the ENMeval script. However, thinking in Wallace, it would be great to have the chance to upload my own background file, as is the case with the occurrence data, instead to create it with an homogeneous distribution over the defined model exten (according to package options).
