Hello! Please allow me to ask a small question : What is the relationship between the res_ind_lib.py and lib_computer_resilience_and_risk.py? I am a Python beginner, and I have seen an earlier version of the code of this resilience model , I know that this version has a big change to the model. Now the new version of the code makes me a bit confused ,I would be very grateful if you can answer my confusion. Thank you very much for your reading ! Hope to get your reply sincerely !

Hi! The two files perform the same functions in their respective versions of the model, in that both calculate asset and wellbeing losses for hazards. As you mentioned, lib_computer_resilience_and_risk.py has significant changes, starting with the fact that the the model currently runs at household level, using household surveys in the relevant country.

We're preparing a paper that describes the model in deep detail, and I hope to have it out this fall. Will be glad to share with you when the paper is available.

Best, Brian
