Interacting with OpenNebula #113

Hi,

I am Daniel Molina, member of the OpenNebula development team. I can see a type
parameter when creating a new Region in order to interact with EC2, Eucalyptus
and OpenStack. Maybe it would be interesting to add a new type to interact with
OpenNebula based Clouds exposing the EC2 interface. Currently we are using the
EC2 type for HybridFox 1.7, but I think that this new type would clarify how to
create an endpoint for OpenNebula.

Also I would like to report an error that some of our users are experiencing:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
I cannot reproduce this error, but it looks like the HybridFox configuration
get corrupted in some cases, after adding an invalid endpoint. The problem is
that a Bad Request error is returned. Although you change the URL to a correct
endpoint even an EC2 endpoint and restart Firefox, the same error is returned.
On the OpenNebula server side there is no request logged.

The only way to fix this behavior is to delete the firefox profile and
configure HybridFox from scratch.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HybridFox 1.7, Firefox 7.0.1, Mac OSX 10.6.8

Cheers.

Go to about:config remove ec2ui.active.endpoint and then restart it.

But we will experiment is there any option to resolve this with out error and
automatically switching for Active endpoints if possible.

Great, thanks for the suggestion.

What do you think about adding a new type for OpenNebula when defining a new
Region?
