Patreon? Substack? PayPal? Venmo? Stripe?

@phildini recommends stripe hosted subscription pages, fwiw, because it's the lowest-overhead, but is willing to help with whatever

Once a new mechanism is set up, @phildini will make multiple announcements to the existing patreon, then shut it down after a week

Hi! found my way here. I'd started working on Patreon, as it was already the method and seems familiar to most, but stripe is also good and I already have an account as well. Will look into that.

Stripe is opened up, the hitch has been trying to get the stripe-hosted subscriptions to show on the "shopfront". But starting today we have subscribers/supporters, as I just posted a link to the blog post where I embedded it . Will work on a better look in a bit.

It has been yoinks since any updates have been posted here, not sure if this is even still a relevant space. Anyway - as we’re presently operating on Stripe, but as yet have no real financial formalities, accounting, or tax agents connecting, I’m just repeating here that we’re looking for a fiscal host through OpenCollective. Wordpress has declined; presently assembling what is needed for the OpenCollective Foundation application itself.
