Pinch in/out to zoom in/out of Glulx extra windows #201

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Please describe the feature request:
Would it be at all possible to pinch/zoom the Glulx extra windows in some
games, be they graphics or text? Sometimes a slight resizing, of the sort that
is impossible to automate, makes all the difference. Maybe zoom it in to click
a hyperlink and zoom it out again afterwards, or zoom in to see the pretty
pictures then zoom out to have enough space to continue typing. I am using an
iPod Touch, so it would be very useful to me.

In some games, being able to enlarge the status line would also be desirable,
especially the more "hacky" games that make heavy use of it ("A Tight Spot",
for instance, seems to take place entirely in the status bar!).
Pinching/zooming the status bar would therefore also be very nice, or, failing
that, a way to define the size of the status bar's font.

Naturally, a companion suggestion to "pinch to zoom" would be to "drag to pan
zoomed windows/images". Similar to the way the iPod does with its own images.

Implemented! (But only Glk game graphics/image windows).
Unfortunately it's a lot harder to do it for text windows (until I can refactor
everything using newer APIs, after I drop support for pre-iOS 7 after this
release)

Well, since you've changed the status of the "Bigger font size" suggestion to
"In-work", I don't think that'll be a problem. :) Very glad to hear it, too.

Fixed in release 1.7, now available (as soon as App Store servers update).
